Richard Shindell

One of the great pleasures of being a songwriter is to have one's songs covered. It's always fascinating to hear how others approach phrasing, inflection, tempo - even pitch. This version of Reunion Hill, however, is especially noteworthy. The singer, Gurgie, is still relatively unknown, but no less an artist for being so. One can only hope that this brilliant, genre-busting version might catapult him to the wider recognition he (?) so richly deserves. Thank you Gurgie.
